“Raging River” in the local dialect aptly describes one of the best whitewater runs in the world. Only recently opened for commercial rafting (many rapids have not been named yet). The Marshyangdi river rafting is one of the best white water rafting and kayaking in the world. It is steep, powerful and challenging wildest commercially run white water in the world. We can see sustained sections of steep technical rafting test our team work throughout the trip. The trek is stunning, with great views of the Manaslu and the Annapurna ahead of you the entire time. In addition to this The scenery is breathtaking and it is a photographers’ dream to come true. Marshyangdi River is originated from northern slope of Annapurna Himalayas. Moreover it joins the Trishuli River near Muglin Bazzar.
From Ngadi downstream to the end of the trip to Bimalnagar, Marshyangdi river rafting is solid whitewater. Rapids are steep, technical and consecutive, making the Marshyandi a serious undertaking. For people looking for a trip with a lot of demanding whitewater and great Mountains scenery, the Marshyangdi is hard to overlook. This is also the river that demands respect. It may be a dream of a whitewater run, but it is a logistic thriller. Even still, our guides fight among themselves for the honor of running it. The huge boulders require instinctive and expert river reacting skills to identify the right lines.
Detailed Itinerary
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu
When you land in Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu, check your hand bag, go to immigration office, make visa for your trip and get your suitcase, where outside our represented member shows you the board of our Company and your Name, transfer to the hotel. Our director meets you in the hotel and discusses about your whole trip. In the evening you will participate to experience typical Nepali food with cultural dance show.
Full Day Kathmandu Cultural Tour
In the first day of your trip, our guide will take you to show UNESCO heritage sites of Kathmandu such as Monkey temple, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath. This day from our guide you will learn about Hindu and Buddhist culture, history, geography, religion, caste system, living being and more things you may ask to him.
Drive to Nagdi from Kathamndu
We will drive from Kathmandu to Nagdi. The entire instrument checked by our Staffs. We sleep in tented camp in Nagdi. We will see the realistic picture of mountain people and their living standard.
Raft to Khudi from Nagdi
Early morning having breakfast, we start our rafting in Marshyangdi River. Our Rafting guide explains how to raft in high rapid before we start our rafting. Pay attention you are straight in the rapid where we raft in gripping section. Today, we encounter rapid as Instant Karma, Twinkie, Adrelanie, and Mama’s Big Butt. We finish our rafting in Khudi.
Raft to Besisahar from khudi
Today we finish our rafting in Sandy Beach below Besisahar. Today our raft will be bumping and challenging where we raft 5 hours in white water rafting. In the Sandy Beach we spend unforgettable night.
Raft to Bhoteodar from Besisahar
We do continuous water rafting from Besisahar to Bhoteodar. Today we will camp near the shiva Temple. Today also we will have wonderful rafting.
Bhoteodar to Bimal Nagar
Today, we raft in mellow water which goes high walled gorge. We finish our rafting in Bimal Nagar and we drive to Kathmandu.
