Besisahar is where the Annapurna Circuit begins. On the other hand, you can start your journey further up the path by boarding a public bus or a private jeep. Because they don’t want to hike on the dusty road or because they are short on time, people skip the first stage(s) of the trek.
The once-traveled route between Besisahar and Bhulbhule has been transformed into a busy road. We advise against hiking on public roads. There is a 4-hour side-trek that circumvents the road, though. Take the side-trek definitely if you decide to start the trip in Besisahar. It’s gorgeous, but more difficult than planned, according to other hikers, who told us.
From Besisahar to Bhulbhule, a public bus costs 200 NPR and travel time is just over an hour. A jeep is another option, although it costs more. What we did was this.
For 300 NPR, a public bus will take you from Besisahar to Nadi Bazaar (sometimes called Ngadi Bazaar).

You can essentially begin anywhere between Besisahar and Manang. You can only travel by bus as far as Ngadi; from there, you can either walk or use a jeep. Just after the Annapurna Sanctuary entry, seven kilometers from Besisahar, is where we began our journey.
We started out on foot from Besisahar but chose to take a bus after 2 kilometers of walking along a busy road because that section of the journey was the worst and busiest of the entire circuit.
Make sure you have two permissions before you embark on your journey and depart from Kathmandu. To obtain these permits if you are traveling alone, go to the Nepal Tourism Board office in Pradarshani Marg, Kathmandu.
